The book appears to conclude the Gargoyle Queen trilogy but
the plot may continue, as a threat is left open. Gemma Ripley continues to try and protect
her kingdom while also trying to kill Milo a Morta prince. Milo, a powerful force, tries to kill Gemma and
destroy her kingdom.
Leonidas, Gemma’s lover, plays a large role in the book but
will it be for his kingdom or hers? The
lovable and grumpy gargoyle, Grimley, and Violet the baby strix are also
sharing the plot. Personally, I love
those two.
Gemma faces death with a surprising savior in the wings. Once again, Estep populates her books with terrific,
strong female protagonists.
I enjoyed the book and recommend the series.
