It's rare that I find myself having an entire series reviewed in sequence. That wasn't planned.
This is the final book of the three-book series. Once again, Keyes shows little regard for the
health and well-being of his characters. Lots of death and mayhem and adventure
and action are abundant.
Anne, Austra, Cazio, Aspar, and Winna find solutions to
their problems. Music plays a surprising
part in the plot. Music has power and
it is not surprising that Keyes recognized that and included it in his
story.
Grudge keeping seems to be a feature in the entire series. They make the Hatfield and McCoy feud pale in
comparison.
I couldn’t imagine that Keyes could get all of the myriad characters
and their issues wrapped up but he did and he did it successfully.
I enjoyed the book and the series.
